After injury or surgery on the lower extremities, like the hip, thighbones, knee, or ankle joints, it is very common to prescribe partial weight-bearing training. Working with a load limit helps patients to gently return to their full mobility. However, one of the biggest problems with partial weight-bearing is to maintain the prescribed load limit. STAPP ONE Rehab is the solution for easy and effective training.

Who is stapp one Rehab for?

STAPP ONE Rehab is for patients who have been prescribed partial weight bearing or load management during rehabilitation. Until now, it has been difficult or even impossible to precisely maintain the prescribed load limits because patients lack a frame of reference, especially when training at home. STAPP ONE Rehab provides such a reference and warns patients visually, acoustically or haptically when they underload or overload.

What is STAPP ONE Rehab?

STAPP ONE Rehab combines the intelligent STAPP ONE sensor soles with a corresponding app. The sensor soles are simply inserted into a comfortable shoe (e.g., a sports shoe) and measure the foot pressure load. The app STAPP ONE Rehab makes it easy to set and check prescribed load limits.

How do patients acquire STAPPONE Rehab?

STAPP ONE Rehab is prescribed by the treating physician. Then the patient orders STAPP ONE Rehab online on our website www.stappone.com or sends the order form via e-mail to  order@stappone.com. The STAPP ONE Rehab product package will be shipped within 2 business days. Once the patient has received the product package, he/she downloads the STAPP ONE Rehab app via the Google Play Store on an Android smartphone and starts the training.

It is also possible to submit the payment receipt to your insurance company. In this case, part of the cost may be covered by the compulsory insurance, but there is no guarantee. In case of additional private insurance, STAPP ONE Rehab can also be submitted as a remedial or therapeutic aid. (“Heilbehelfe” and/or “Hilfsmittel”)

Once the therapy is completed, simply send the sensor soles back to us for recycling, because environmental protection is also a major concern for stapp one.
