With Prehab2Rehab<\/em>, a pioneering flagship project for the digital transformation of healthcare was launched in May. Its goal is to provide patients with the best possible support before and after planned surgical procedures through a seamlessly connected, individually tailored and digitally supported care pathway.<\/p>\n

A central component: stappone\u2019s intelligent sensor insoles<\/a>, which precisely measure movement and load, enabling data-driven prehabilitation and rehabilitation. stappone contributes its technological expertise to this flagship project, coordinated by the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Digital Health and Prevention<\/a> and funded by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG).<\/p>\n

Why Prehab2Rehab?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Planned surgeries \u2013 whether on the heart, knee, or internal organs \u2013 often come with a sense of uncertainty for patients. This is where Prehab2Rehab<\/em><\/a> steps in: the project explores how digital technologies can be strategically applied to optimally prepare patients for surgery and provide structured support throughout their entire recovery process.<\/p>\n
