Quality, design and user experience are the top priorities at stapp<\/i>\u200a<\/span>one. That’s why stapp<\/i>\u200a<\/span>one organized an internal sprint week on this topic from June 7th to 10th. Constant optimization and updating is crucial in the field of innovation and therefore also part of the stapp<\/i>\u200a<\/span>one philosophy.<\/i><\/p>\n You can take \u201esprint” literally, because in this short time, employees from the software department, hardware development, usability management, external orthopedists, physiotherapists and stapp\u200a<\/span>one CEO Peter Krimmer worked together to create a new design for STAPPONE Medical<\/a>. The goal was to develop an even better user experience.<\/p>\n Better together <\/b><\/p>\n This innovative collaboration resulted in a draft for an optimized STAPPONE Medical <\/a>Software design. The main question was: How to set up the software so that not only physiotherapists and physicians, but also patients, receive comprehensible and visually well presented data? In this process, already existing features were revised and new ones were added. Another point on the agenda was to create a rough sketch of the future user interface and user experience.<\/p>\n Feedback from experts<\/b><\/p>\n On the last day of the sprint week, the design was presented to doctors and therapists who already use stappone or will do so in the future. The experts were walked through the design and gave valuable feedback on every detail. This also included very basic things, such as how intuitive the design actually is and which features are really useful.<\/p>\n Practical modifications<\/b><\/p>\n The future STAPPONE Medical <\/a>l distinguishes between neurological and orthopedic patients so that their needs can be addressed even more precisely.<\/p>\n At the same time, pyhsiotherapists and physicians will be able to adjust the software to static or dynamic exercises. In this way, they receive only the data that is relevant for the respective exercise. Depending on the type of patient, it will be possible to select topic-specific, predefined exercises. Another modification will be the modularization of the report. Physiotherapists and physicians can decide which evaluations they would like to have displayed on the report, so that patients can also understand and compare their reports more easily. For example, the report will only show the results of the gait analysis or the rolling line and not the entire objective data.<\/p>\n It will also be much easier to visualize the patient’s progress. At the moment, it is only possible to compare different assessment reports individually.
